About IOFGA The Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association certifies
organic food and products throughout the island of Ireland. It is a voluntary
organisation and a company limited by guarantee with a membership open to all.
It has an elected board of directors
and is supported by a membership of over one thousand. IOFGA: -
Operates an inspection scheme approved in Ireland and the UK - Maintains a
set of rigorous organic production and food processing standards - Provides
information and training on organic farming and food production - Promotes
organic food and farming - Facilitates a network of regional groups throughout
Ireland - Publishs a bi-monthly magazine "Organic
Matters" Join IOFGA If you are a farmer,
grower, food processor, trader, or retailer then please contact
IOFGA for an information pack or a standards pack. If you
are a consumer you can also benefit from joining IOFGA. You'll recieve six editions
of "Organic Matters" throughout the year. You'll also find out about
organic farm walks, training opportunities, open days, and the various campaigns
that IOFGA is involved with. Annual membership is just 38 Euro. Download
